JSR is pleased to announce that its Shanghai Technical Center (STC) has been expanded and is now in operation. The STC is a JSR technical base for display materials in China.
Tokyo - March 15, 2022 - The strength of the STC lies in its ability to respond to customer requirements quickly as a one-stop shop, thanks to its large number of Chinese staff. Leveraging this strength, we have provided a variety of technical services, including joint experiments with customers, on-site support for customer’s production lines, material and process proposals, and evaluation and analysis support. With the expansion of the site area, we will enhance our evaluation equipment and small scale production equipment. We will also strengthen our technical services in the OLED (Organic Light Emitting Display) materials field based on our core technologies and experience in materials for LCD panels.
As part of the global structural reform announced in September 2020, JSR Micro Taiwan will transfer its lab functions to the STC, and continue to consolidate its technical service functions for display customers in Taiwan. The core of material development for displays will continue at the Yokkaichi Research Center.
Location: Building 3, Jindiweixin Hongqiao Innovation Park, No. 1 Wangdong Middle Road, Songjiang District, Shanghai, China
